We knew police departments had cold case files, but Habitat for Humanity? Turns out they can't perform restorations on homes with foundation problems. There aren't enough funds to install new insulation, windows, doors and siding, put a new roof on AND repair the foundation. So unfortunately, those homes were being set aside...
...then we stepped in.
Now we're dusting off those old files to provide foundation repair on Habitat homes that need it. Jesse, Habitat's Rehab Manager, is ecstatic. Together, we're saving his clients' homes from being torn down and their owners from being relocated. Many of these folks have been in the same place their entire lives. They love their homes, they love their neighborhoods and they love their communities. They don't want to be uprooted and have to move out to the suburbs.
And now they don't have to. Thanks for helping us make a difference.
